MediaPaedia provides the insight and know-how that makes a difference

MediaPaedia was established in August 2011 by Simon Dore, whose reputation for insight, direction and delivery is renowned.  Previously at Top Up TV, the UK’s innovative digital terrestrial pay-TV operation, Simon directed the technology launch of the first DVB-T Video-on-Demand service, Top Up TV Anytime.  

Prior to this, Simon was CTO at the Showtime Network in the Middle East where he was responsible for the building of a state of the art TV operations centre from the sand up.  Simon has a wealth of industry experience having undertaken roles in a number of highly regarded companies and across many disciplines, including Granada, BSkyB, BTAS, BBC Worldwide and Showtime.  This means that through Simon, MediaPaedia’s network of contacts and industry know-how are second to none.

The MediaPaedia team specialises in strategy and project advice, implementation and delivery in the Digital Media space.  Clients already include WPSChallenger, an innovative operator led investment company; Ericsson, a world leading supplier and innovator of telecommunications equipment and services; the Farncombe Consulting Group which has an international reputation for independence, quality thinking and excellence; Comux, the local DTT operator; Google, PWC, Strategy & Technology, Comux, BroadView, StoryVault.tv, and Top Up TV, the UK’s most innovative DVB-T operator and the world’s first pay DTT ‘Push VoD’ platform. Opportunities at MediaPaedia

We are looking for

...a scheduler to join our young and dynamic broadcast operations team.

The successful applicant will be involved in every aspect of the broadcast chain, from dealing with operator platforms, advertising sales houses, content producers and playout facilities. 

Day to day responsibilities:
    • Presentation scheduling
    • Commercial airtime scheduling
    • EPG data delivery
    • Content traffic co-ordination
    • Client liaison
    • Third party liaison

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking for an entry level broadcasting position.  

We are based in High Wycombe.  Some travel into London is required. 

Normal office hours are  09:00 - 17:00

However, this is a broadcasting role and the operational cycle for the industry is 24/7 so there will be a need to work outside of normal office hours, on occasion and at short notice.
